| 37. Formal Translation And Eliezer son of Dodavahu from Mareshah prophesied against Jehoshaphat, saying, “Because you allied yourself with Ahaziah, the LORD {Yahweh, Righteous Judge} has broken your works.” As a result, the ships were wrecked and were not able to go to Tarshish. |
| 37. Dynamic Translation Then Eliezer, the son of Dodavahu from Mareshah, spoke a prophecy against Jehoshaphat: “Since you joined with Ahaziah, the LORD {Yahweh, Covenant Enforcer} has destroyed what you built.” So the ships were smashed and could not sail to Tarshish. |
