| 13. Formal Translation And you walked in the way of the kings of Israel and caused Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to commit fornication as the harlotries of the house of Ahab. And you also killed your brothers, the house of your father, who were better than you. |
| 13. Dynamic Translation You followed the example of Israel’s kings and led Judah and the people of Jerusalem into spiritual unfaithfulness just as Ahab’s household did. You even murdered your own brothers, members of your father’s house—men who were better than you. |
