וַיָּבֹ֨אוּ{va-ya-VO-u###vah-yah-VOH-oo###and they went} כָל־הָעָ֤ם{khol-ha-AM###khol-hah-AHM###all the people} בֵּית־הַבַּ֙עַל֙{bet-ha-AL###BEET-hah-AL###house of the Baal} וַֽיִּתְּצֻ֔הוּ{va-yit-tse-TU-hu###vah-yihT-tseh-TUH-hoo###and they tore it down} וְאֶת־מִזְבְּחֹתָ֥יו{ve-ET-miz-be-kho-TAI-v###veh-EET-mihz-beh-khoh-TAA-yiv###and the altars of him} וְאֶת־צְלָמָ֖יו{ve-ET-tse-la-MAI-v###veh-EET-tseh-lah-MAA-yiv###and the images of him} שִׁבֵּ֑רוּ{shi-BE-ru###shih-BEH-roo###they smashed or broke in pieces} וְאֵ֗ת{ve-ET###veh-EET###and} מַתָּן֙{ma-TAN###mah-TAAN###Mattan} כֹּהֵ֣ן{ko-HEN###koh-HEHN###priest} הַבַּ֔עַל{ha-AL###hah-AL###the Baal} הָרְג֖וּ{hor-GU###hohr-GOO###they killed} לִפְנֵ֥י{lif-NE###lihf-NEE###before} הַֽמִּזְבְּחֽוֹת׃{ham-miz-be-KHOT###hahm-mihz-beh-KHOHT###the altars}
