| 20. Formal Translation He gathered the commanders of the hundreds, the nobles, the rulers among the people, and all the inhabitants of the land, and he led the king down from the house of the LORD {Yahweh, Covenant Sanctuary}. They went in by the upper gate of the king’s house and set the king upon the throne of the kingdom. |
| 20. Dynamic Translation He assembled the commanders of the hundreds, the nobles, the leaders of the people, and everyone throughout the land, and led the king out from the LORD’s {Yahweh, Temple Presence} house. They passed through the high gate into the royal palace and placed the king on the throne of the kingdom. |
