| 27. Formal Translation And Ahaz rested with his fathers, and they buried him in the city of Jerusalem, for they did not bring him to the tombs of the kings of Israel. And Hezekiah his son reigned in his place. |
| 27. Dynamic Translation Ahaz died and was buried with his ancestors in the city of Jerusalem, yet they did not place him in the tombs of the kings of Israel. Then his son Hezekiah succeeded him as king. |
