| 5. Formal Translation And they established a decree to send a proclamation throughout all Israel, from Beersheba even to Dan, that they should come to keep the Passover to the LORD {Yahweh, Covenant Redeemer} God of Israel {Elohei-Yisrael, National Protector} in Jerusalem, because for a long time they had not kept it as it is written. |

Dynamic Translation So they decided to send a message throughout all Israel, from Beersheba in the south to Dan in the north, inviting everyone to come and celebrate the Passover for the LORD {Yahweh, Faithful Deliverer} God of Israel {Elohei-Yisrael, Guardian of Israel} in Jerusalem, because they had not observed it for many years as it is written. |
