11. Formal Translation
Is it not Hezekiah who is misleading {massit: to mislead, instigate} you, to give you over to die by hunger and by thirst, saying, “The LORD our God {Yahweh Eloheinu, Deliverer in distress} will deliver us from the hand of the king of Assyria?”
11. Dynamic Translation
Is Hezekiah not deceiving you so that you will die of hunger and thirst, when he says, “The LORD our God {Yahweh Eloheinu, Rescuer from peril} will save us from the power of the king of Assyria?”
