| 22. Formal Translation He did evil in the eyes of the LORD {Yahweh, Moral Judge}, just as his father Manasseh had done. To all the idols that his father Manasseh had made, Amon sacrificed and served them. |
| 22. Dynamic Translation He did what was wrong in the sight of the LORD {Yahweh, Righteous Ruler}, just like his father Manasseh had done. Amon offered sacrifices to all the idols that his father Manasseh had made and worshiped them. |
