| 22. Formal Translation But Josiah did not turn away his face from him, for he disguised himself to fight against him; he did not listen to the words of Necho from the mouth of God, and he came to fight in the valley of Megiddo. |
| 22. Dynamic Translation Yet Josiah refused to turn away; he disguised himself to engage him in battle, he ignored Necho’s words from the mouth of God, and still went to fight in the plain of Megiddo. |
