| 21. Formal Translation But he sent messengers to him, saying, “What is there between me and you, king of Judah? I am not coming against you today but against the house with which I am at war; and God has commanded me to hurry. Cease for your own sake from opposing God, who is with me, so that He does not destroy you.” |
| 21. Dynamic Translation But he sent messengers to him, saying, “What is there between you and me, king of Judah? I am not attacking you today but fighting against the house that is my enemy. God has told me to hurry. Stop opposing God, who is with me, or He may destroy you.” |
