| 25. Formal Translation And Jeremiah {Yirmeyahu, Prophet-Lamenter} lamented over Josiah, and all the singers, male and female, have spoken of Josiah in their laments to this day. They established these as a statute in Israel, and behold, they are written in the Laments. |
| 25. Dynamic Translation Jeremiah mourned for Josiah {Yoshiyahu, Righteous King}, and ever since then, all the male and female singers have sung of Josiah in their songs of mourning. These became a custom in Israel and remain recorded in the Laments. |
