1. Formal Translation And the queen of Sheba, when she heard of Solomon’s fame, came to test Solomon with riddles in Jerusalem, with a very great retinue, and camels bearing spices and an abundance of gold, and precious stones. And she came to Solomon and spoke with him about all that was in her heart. |
1. Dynamic Translation When the queen of Sheba heard about Solomon’s reputation, she went to Jerusalem to test him with difficult questions while arriving with a vast caravan of camels loaded with spices, gold, and valuable gems. She met with Solomon and shared everything she had on her mind. |
