6. Formal Translation But whether we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; or whether we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which is being accomplished in the endurance of the same sufferings which we also suffer. |
6. Dynamic Translation If we are experiencing trouble, it is for your comfort and salvation; and if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which is being produced as you endure the same kinds of sufferings that we also suffer. |
