And I wrote this very thing in order that I might not have sorrow when I came from those over whom I ought to rejoice, having confidence in you all that my joy is the joy of you all.
3. Dynamic Translation
I wrote you this letter so that, when I arrive, I would not have sorrow from those who should make me rejoice. I trust all of you, because my joy and yours belong together.
