17. Formal Translation And he died according to the word of the LORD {Yahweh, Promise Fulfiller} that Elijah {Eliyahu: prophet, divine messenger} had spoken; and Jehoram reigned in his place in the second year of Jehoram the son of Jehoshaphat, king of Judah, because he had no son. |
17. Dynamic Translation And so he died just as the LORD {Yahweh, Prophetic Judge} had said through Elijah, and Jehoram became king after him in the second year of Jehoram son of Jehoshaphat, king of Judah, since there was no son for him. |
