15. Formal Translation And Jehoiada the priest commanded the commanders of the hundreds and the officers of the army, saying, “Bring her out between the ranks, and let whoever follows her be put to death by the sword.” For the priest had said, “She must not be killed in the house of the LORD {Yahweh, Sanctuary Protector}.” |
15. Dynamic Translation Jehoiada the priest ordered the leaders of the hundred-man units and the military officers: “Take her out through the lines, and if anyone goes after her, put them to death with the sword.” He insisted, “Do not execute her inside the LORD’s {Yahweh, Temple Guardian} house.” |
