10. Formal Translation And it happened, when they saw that there was much money in the chest, that the scribe of the king and the high priest would come up, tie it up in bags, and count the money that was found in the house of the LORD {Yahweh, Sanctuary Owner}. |
10. Dynamic Translation Whenever they saw that the chest held a large amount of money, the king’s scribe and the high priest came up, put it into bags, and counted the funds found in the LORD’s {Yahweh, Temple Guardian} house. |
