4. Formal Translation And Jehoahaz sought the face of the LORD {Yahweh, Prayer Hearer}, and the LORD listened to him, for He saw the oppression of Israel, because the king of Aram oppressed them. |
4. Dynamic Translation Jehoahaz pleaded with the LORD {Yahweh, Compassionate Responder}, and the LORD answered him because He saw how much Israel was suffering since the king of Aram was oppressing them. |
