וַיִּקְשְׁר֨וּ{va-yik-she-RU###vah-yihk-sheh-RUU###and they conspired} עָלָ֥יו{a-LAV###aa-LAAV###against him} קֶ֛שֶׁר{KE-sher###KEH-shehr###a conspiracy} בִּירוּשָׁלַ֖͏ִם{bi-ru-sha-LIM###bih-roo-shah-LEEM###in Jerusalem} וַיָּ֣נָס{va-NAS###vah-NAAS###and he fled} לָכִ֑ישָׁה{la-KHI-sha###laa-KHEE-shah###to Lachish} וַיִּשְׁלְח֤וּ{va-yish-le-KHU###vah-yihsh-leh-KHUU###and they sent} אַֽחֲרָיו֙{a-kha-RAV###ah-khah-RAAV###after him} לָכִ֔ישָׁה{la-KHI-sha###laa-KHEE-shah###to Lachish} וַיְמִתֻ֖הוּ{va-ye-mi-TU-hu###vah-yeh-mih-TUH-hoo###and they put him to death} שָֽׁם׃{SHAM###SHAAM###there}
