| 25. Formal Translation And Pekah son of Remaliah conspired against him with his officer and struck him down in Samaria in the fortress of the king’s house, alongside Argob and Arieh with fifty men from the sons of Gilead. He killed the king and reigned in his place. |
| 25. Dynamic Translation Pekah the son of Remaliah plotted against the king and ambushed him in the royal palace at Samaria. Argob and Arieh were with him, along with fifty Gileadite warriors. Then Pekah killed the king and took the throne. |
