| 4. Formal Translation Perhaps the LORD your God {Yahweh Eloheca, Hope of Israel} will hear all the words of the chief cupbearer whom the king of Assyria, his lord, has sent to reproach the living God, and He will rebuke the words that the LORD your God has heard. So you will lift up a prayer for the remnant that is found. |

Dynamic Translation It may be that the LORD your God {Yahweh Eloheca, Source of rescue} will hear all the things the chief officer said whom the king of Assyria—his lord—sent to mock the living God, and the LORD your God will rebuke the words that He has heard. So lift up a prayer for those who remain. |
