| 8. Formal Translation And Hilkiah the high priest said to Shaphan the scribe, “I have found a scroll of the law in the house of the LORD {Yahweh, Temple Proprietor}.” And Hilkiah gave the scroll to Shaphan, and he read it. |
| 8. Dynamic Translation Hilkiah, the chief priest, told Shaphan the secretary, “I have discovered a book of instruction in the LORD’s {Yahweh, Sacred Authority} house.” Hilkiah handed the book to Shaphan, and he read it. |
