| 35. Formal Translation Jehoiakim gave the silver and the gold to Pharaoh; however, he assessed the land to give the silver at Pharaoh’s word, and he exacted the silver and the gold from the people of the land, each man according to his valuation, to give to Pharaoh Necho. |
