14. Formal Translation And Elisha said, “As the LORD of hosts {Yahweh Tsevaot, Commander of Armies} lives, before whom I have stood, if it were not that I have regard for Jehoshaphat king of Judah, I would neither look toward you nor see you.” |
14. Dynamic Translation Elisha said, “As surely as the LORD of hosts {Yahweh Tsevaot, Divine Warrior} lives—the One I serve—if I did not respect Jehoshaphat king of Judah, I would not even turn my eyes toward you.” |
