2 Kings 4:13:1וַיֹּ֣אמֶרvayomerand he said
2 Kings 4:13:2ל֗וֹloto him 2 Kings 4:13:3אֱמָר־נָ֣אemarnasay, please 2 Kings 4:13:4אֵלֶיהָ֮elehato her 2 Kings 4:13:5הִנֵּ֣הhinebehold or look 2 Kings 4:13:6חָרַ֣דְתְּkharadteyou have been anxious or you have taken trouble 2 Kings 4:13:7אֵלֵינוּ֮elenufor us or toward us 2 Kings 4:13:8אֶת־כָּל־הַחֲרָדָ֣הetkolhakharadaall the anxiety or all the trouble 2 Kings 4:13:9הַזֹּאת֒hazotthis 2 Kings 4:13:10מֶ֚הmewhat 2 Kings 4:13:11לַעֲשׂ֣וֹתlaasotto do 2 Kings 4:13:12לָ֔ךְlakhfor you 2 Kings 4:13:13הֲיֵ֤שׁhayeshis there 2 Kings 4:13:14לְדַבֶּר־לָךְ֙ledabberlakhto speak for you or to speak to you 2 Kings 4:13:15אֶל־הַמֶּ֔לֶךְelhamelekhto the king 2 Kings 4:13:16א֖וֹoor 2 Kings 4:13:17אֶל־שַׂ֣רelsarto a prince or to an officer 2 Kings 4:13:18הַצָּבָ֑אhatsavathe army 2 Kings 4:13:19וַתֹּ֕אמֶרvatomerand she said 2 Kings 4:13:20בְּת֥וֹךְbetokhin the midst of 2 Kings 4:13:21עַמִּ֖יamimy people 2 Kings 4:13:22אָנֹכִ֥יanokhiI 2 Kings 4:13:23יֹשָֽׁבֶת׃yoshavetdwelling or residing
13. Formal Translation
And he said to him, “Please say to her, ‘Behold, you have shown all this anxious care for us; what can be done for you? Is there anyone to intercede for you with the king or with the commander of the army?’” And she said, “I dwell among my own people.”
13. Dynamic Translation
He said to him, “Please go and tell her, ‘Look, you have gone to great lengths for us—what can we do for you? Should I speak to the king or to the army commander on your behalf?’” She replied, “I am at home among my people.”
