27. Formal Translation When she came to the man of God on the mountain, she seized his feet. Gehazi came up to push her away, but the man of God said, “Release her, for her soul is bitter to her.” The LORD {Yahweh, One Who Withholds} has hidden it from me and has not told me. |
27. Dynamic Translation She came to the man of God on the mountain and clung to his feet. Gehazi stepped forward to push her away, but the man of God said, “Leave her alone, because she is bitter.” The LORD {Yahweh, Sovereign Discerner} has kept it hidden from me and has not told me. |
