12. Formal Translation
“Is not Abanah (Amana) and Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? Could I not wash in them and become clean? Then he turned and went off in anger.”
12. Dynamic Translation
“Are not Abanah (Amana) and Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all Israel’s waters? Could I not wash in them and be clean? He turned and walked away furious.”
