20. Formal Translation Gehazi, the servant of Elisha, the man of God, said, “Behold, my master has withheld from this Naaman the Aramean what he brought. As the LORD {Yahweh, Oath Witness} lives, surely I will run after him and take something from him.” |
20. Dynamic Translation Gehazi, who served Elisha, the man of God, thought, “Look, my master was too lenient with this Naaman the Aramean by not accepting what he brought. As the LORD {Yahweh, Vow Keeper} lives, I will run after him and get something from him.” |
