15. Formal Translation
And the attendant of the man of God rose early and went out, and behold, an army was surrounding the city with horses and chariotry. And his servant said to him, “Alas, my lord, how shall we do?”
15. Dynamic Translation
The servant of the man of God got up early and went out, and an army encircled the city with horses and chariots. He exclaimed to his master, “Oh no, my lord, what shall we do?”
