28. Formal Translation
And the king said to her, “What is troubling you?” She replied, “This woman said to me, ‘Give your son, and we will eat him today; tomorrow we will eat my son.’”
28. Dynamic Translation
Then the king asked her, “What is causing your distress?” She answered, “This woman said to me, ‘Give your son so we can eat him today, and tomorrow we will eat my son.’”
