3. Formal Translation And you shall take the flask of oil and pour it on his head, and you shall say, “Thus says the LORD {Yahweh, Anointing Authority}: ‘I have anointed you king over Israel.’” Then you shall open the door and flee, and you shall not wait. |
3. Dynamic Translation Take the flask of oil and pour it on his head. Then declare, “This is what the LORD {Yahweh, Divine Appointer} says: ‘I am making you king over Israel.’” After that, open the door and run away without delay. |
