9. Formal Translation For the one to whom these things are not present is blind, being nearsighted, having received forgetfulness of the cleansing of his former sins. |
9. Dynamic Translation For whoever does not have these qualities is blind, so nearsighted that he has forgotten that he was cleansed from his past sins. |
