15. Formal Translation And he wrote in the letter, saying, “Put Uriah opposite the front line of the fiercest battle; then withdraw from behind him, so that he will be struck down and die.” |
15. Dynamic Translation He wrote in the letter, “Place Uriah right at the front, facing the fiercest fighting, then pull back from behind him so he will be hit and die.” |
