2 Samuel 13:16:1וַתֹּ֣אמֶרvatomerand she said
2 Samuel 13:16:2ל֗וֹloto him 2 Samuel 13:16:3אַל־אוֹדֹ֞תalodotno, because of 2 Samuel 13:16:4הָרָעָ֤הharaathe evil 2 Samuel 13:16:5הַגְּדוֹלָה֙hagedolathe great 2 Samuel 13:16:6הַזֹּ֔אתhazotthis 2 Samuel 13:16:7מֵאַחֶ֛רֶתmeakheretthan the other 2 Samuel 13:16:8אֲשֶׁר־עָשִׂ֥יתָasherasitawhich you did 2 Samuel 13:16:9עִמִּ֖יimmiwith me 2 Samuel 13:16:10לְשַׁלְּחֵ֑נִיleshalkhenito send me away 2 Samuel 13:16:11וְלֹ֥אveloand not 2 Samuel 13:16:12אָבָ֖הavahe was willing 2 Samuel 13:16:13לִשְׁמֹ֥עַֽlishmoato listen 2 Samuel 13:16:14לָֽהּ׃lato her
16. Formal Translation
And she said to him, “No, do not speak of this great wrong, for the wrong of sending me away is greater than that which you have done to me.” But he refused to listen to her.
16. Dynamic Translation
She pleaded with him, “Please do not mention this terrible wrong. Evicting me would be a far worse injustice than what you have already done.” But he refused to listen to her.
