9. Formal Translation And she took the pan and poured it before him, but he refused to eat. Then Amnon said, “Bring out every man from me.” So every man went out from him. |
9. Dynamic Translation She picked up the pan and poured the food in front of him, but he would not eat. Then Amnon told them, “Send all the men away from me.” So all the men left him. |
