| 32. Formal Translation And the king said to the Cushite, “Is it well with the young man, with Absalom?” And the Cushite said, “May the enemies of my lord the king and all who rise up against you for evil be like that young man.” |
| 32. Dynamic Translation The king asked the Cushite, “Is the young man Absalom safe?” The Cushite replied, “May all the enemies of my lord the king and anyone who tries to harm you end up like that young man.” |
