The relative clause bakherev asher beyad-yoav {בַּחֶ֣רֶב אֲשֶׁ֣ר בְּיַד־יוֹאָ֗ב | ba-ḥe-rev ’ă-šer bə-yad-yō-ʼāv} ‘to the sword that was in Joab’s hand’ postpones the instrument for emphasis.
