10. Formal Translation
He stood up and struck the Philistines until his hand grew weary and stuck to his sword. The LORD {Yahweh, Deliverer} brought about a great victory that day, and the people returned after him only to strip the slain.
10. Dynamic Translation
He held his ground and fought the Philistines until his hand was so tired it froze to his sword. The LORD {Yahweh, Mighty Rescuer} secured a great victory that day, and the people returned afterward only to collect plunder.
