וְהוּא־הִכָּה֩{ve-HU-hi-KA###veh-HOO-hee-KAA###and he struck} אֶת־אִ֨ישׁ{et-ISH###eht-EESH###(direct object marker) a man} מִצְרִ֜י{mits-RI###mits-REE###an Egyptian} אשר{a-SHER###ah-SHEHR###who or which} אִ֣ישׁ{ISH###EESH###a man} מַרְאֶ֗ה{mar-E###mahr-EH###of appearance} וּבְיַ֤ד{u-ve-YAD###oo-veh-YAHD###and in (the) hand of} הַמִּצְרִי֙{ha-mits-RI###hah-mits-REE###the Egyptian} חֲנִ֔ית{kha-NIT###khah-NEET###a spear} וַיֵּ֥רֶד{va-YE-red###vah-YEH-rehd###and he went down} אֵלָ֖יו{e-LAV###ee-LAAV###to him} בַּשָּׁ֑בֶט{ba-sha-VET###bah-shaa-VEHT###with the staff} וַיִּגְזֹ֤ל{va-yig-ZOL###vah-yihg-ZOHL###and he seized} אֶֽת־הַחֲנִית֙{et-ha-kha-NIT###eht-hah-khah-NEET###(direct object marker) the spear} מִיַּ֣ד{mi-YAD###mih-YAHD###from (the) hand of} הַמִּצְרִ֔י{ha-mits-RI###hah-mits-REE###the Egyptian} וַיַּהַרְגֵ֖הוּ{va-ya-har-GE-hu###vah-yah-hahr-GEH-hoo###and he killed him} בַּחֲנִיתֽוֹ׃{ba-kha-ni-TO###bah-khah-nee-TOH###with his spear}
