20. Formal Translation
Then David returned to bless his household, and Michal daughter of Saul went out to meet him and said, “How honored the king of Israel has become today, uncovering himself today in the sight of the female servants of his servants, like one of the empty fellows unveils himself!”
20. Dynamic Translation
When David came home to bless his family, Michal, Saul’s daughter, came out to meet him and said, “What a spectacle the king of Israel made today—honored, uncovering himself before the slave women of his attendants, like a shameless person!”
