11. Formal Translation Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. The one who does good is from God {Theos, Moral Source}; the one who does evil has not seen God. |
11. Dynamic Translation Dear friend, do not copy what is wrong; instead, follow what is good. If you do good, you belong to God, but anyone who does bad things has never seen God {Theos, Righteous Standard}. |
