22. Formal Translation And after removing him, He {Theos, Sovereign Chooser} raised up David for them as king, to whom He also said, after bearing witness, “I have found David, the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will.” |
22. Dynamic Translation After God {Theos, Ruler Over Kings} had taken him away, He gave them David to be their king. God said about him, “I have discovered David son of Jesse, a man who matches My heart, and he will accomplish everything I want.” |
