And the priest of Zeus—whose temple was at the entrance to the city—having brought bulls and garlands to the gates, together with the crowds, intended to offer sacrifice.
13. Dynamic Translation
The priest of Zeus, whose shrine stood outside the city, brought bulls and wreaths to the city gates, and with the people wanted to make a sacrifice.
