| 5. Formal Translation But the Jews, having become jealous, and having taken along some wicked men from among the market-dwellers, formed a mob and were throwing the city into an uproar. And having come upon the house of Jason, they were seeking to bring them out to the assembly. |
| 5. Dynamic Translation However, these Jews, stirred up by jealousy, rounded up some troublemakers from the marketplace, started a riot in the city, and rushed to Jason’s house, trying to drag them out before the public crowd. |
