But when both Silas and Timothy came down from Macedonia, Paul was being constrained by the word, solemnly testifying to the Jews that the Christ {Christos, Promised Messiah} is Jesus {Iesous, Revealed Savior}.
5. Dynamic Translation
When Silas and Timothy arrived from Macedonia, Paul devoted himself completely to the message, earnestly testifying to the Jews that Jesus {Iesous, Saving Lord} is the Christ {Christos, Anointed King}.
