When they kept resisting and speaking against him, he shook out his clothes and said, “Your blood is on your own heads; I am clean. From this point on I will go to the Gentiles.”

But when they kept resisting and speaking abusively, he shook out his clothes and said to them, “Your blood is on your own heads; I am innocent. From now on I will go to the non-Jewish people.”
