| 11. Formal Translation But on the following night the Lord {Kyrios, Assuring Guide} stood by him and said, “Take courage, for just as you have solemnly testified about Me {Iesous, One Proclaimed} in Jerusalem, so you must also testify in Rome.” |
| 11. Dynamic Translation The next night the Lord {Kyrios, Strengthening Presence} stood near him and said, “Be brave, because in the same way you have testified about Me {Iesous, Risen Lord} in Jerusalem, you must also testify in Rome.” |
