And when he had been summoned, Tertullus began to bring charges against him, saying, “Since we are enjoying great peace through you and since reforms are being carried out for this nation through your foresight,”

When he was called in, Tertullus started to present his case, laying out the charges against him, saying, “Because we benefit from a great measure of peace through you, and many reforms have been accomplished for this nation through your foresight,”
