| 23. Formal Translation After they had set a day for him, they came to him at his lodging in greater numbers. To them he was explaining and solemnly testifying about the kingdom of God {Basileia tou Theou, Saving Reign}, persuading them concerning Jesus {Iesous, Promised Messiah} both from the Law of Moses and from the Prophets, from morning until evening. |
| 23. Dynamic Translation They arranged a day to meet with him, and many more came to his place to hear him. All day long, from morning to evening, he explained and gave strong witness about the kingdom of God {Basileia tou Theou, Gracious Rule}, trying to convince them about Jesus {Iesous, Fulfilled Promise} using teachings from the Law of Moses and the Prophets. |
