Formal Translation For look, the One who forms the mountains and creates the wind, who declares to a human what His thought is, who makes dawn darkness, and who treads upon the high places of the earth—the LORD {Yahweh, Creator Ruler}, the God of hosts {Elohei-tsevaot, Armies Commander}, is His name. |
13. Dynamic Translation Pay attention: the One who shaped the mountains and made the wind also makes known to people what He is thinking; He can turn daybreak into darkness and stride over the heights of the earth. The LORD {Yahweh, Revealing King}, the God of hosts {Elohei-tsevaot, Heavenly Marshal}, is His name. |
